House Rules

  • Discrimination of any kind is not permitted.

  • Do not touch anyone else's work.

  • Clay can not go down the sink.

  • Do not ‘dry-sand’ bisque or greenware inside the studio.

  • No production pottery making.

  • Clay Center is not responsible for loss, theft, or breakage of any kind.

  • You must clean up after yourself with a wet sponge or wet mop.

  • Nothing from the studio can be taken home.

  • Use headphones if you want to listen to your own thing.

  • Any cell phone usage must be taken outside the studio…

  • Cancellations require a seventy-two (72) hours notice for - otherwise fees are non-refundable.

  • If you are not feeling well, please do not come to the studio. 

  • Help to conserve water - please do not let water run in sink! 

  • The studio is not responsible for pieces that break during the firing process or get thrown out if abandoned for more than 30 days.

  • For safety reasons, long hair should be tied back and jewelry removed.

  • No weapons allowed in studio.

  • Clay Center has the ability to revoke privileges at any time.

  • You must pick your work up within 30 days of us contacting you that your work is ready.

Policies

    • If The Clay Center needs to cancel a class due to low enrollment, weather, or unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.We want to share our love for Clay and foster a creative environment for all! 

    • At The Clay Center, each class is a small, hands-on experience with limited seating and materials prepared in advance. Because of this, we have the following cancellation policy in place to ensure fairness for both our students and instructors.

    • 7 or More Days Before Your Class:  You may cancel for a full refund or reschedule to a future class.

    • 3-6 Days Before Your Class:  You may reschedule or receive studio credit. Refunds are not available.

    • Within 72 Hours of Your Class:  Cancellations are non-refundable and not eligible for rescheduling or credit.

    • Transferring Your Spot: If you’re unable to attend, you are welcome to transfer your spot to a friend. Please email us in advance with their name and contact information so we can update the reservation.

    • Classes begin promptly. If you arrive late, we may not be able to provide a full experience.

    • No-shows are not eligible for refunds, credits, or rescheduling.
