These classes are designed for a relaxed, social experience. Whether it’s a date night, a night out with friends, or just something new to do, this is about showing up, trying something with your hands, and having a good time.

You’ll be guided through the basics, but the focus is less on perfect pieces and more on the experience.

Clay, Conversation, & A Night Out

A creative night out with a little more personality.

Sit side by side at the wheel, learn the basics together, and make a couple of pieces you’ll actually want to keep. Come with a date, a friend group, coworkers, or solo. The atmosphere is relaxed, social, and designed to make trying pottery feel approachable and fun.

It’s a little muddy, a little imperfect, and way more memorable than your usual night out.

No experience needed, just come ready to try something new.

Any class starting after 4pm is BYOB. Guests 21+ may bring beverages in accordance with our BYOB policy.

You’ll each keep 2 finished pieces. All materials included.

What to Expect

  • 1.5–2 hour guided wheel session

  • Small group, beginner-friendly instruction

  • Relaxed social studio atmosphere

  • Finished pieces ready in 4 weeks, you will receive an email when your items are ready for pickup.

What to Wear

Clothes you don’t mind getting a little muddy. Clay washes out, but it’s part of the experience.

Class Cancellation Policies

    • If The Clay Center needs to cancel a class due to low enrollment, weather, or unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.We want to share our love for Clay and foster a creative environment for all! 

    • At The Clay Center, each class is a small, hands-on experience with limited seating and materials prepared in advance. Because of this, we have the following cancellation policy in place to ensure fairness for both our students and instructors.

    • 7 or More Days Before Your Class:  You may cancel for a full refund or reschedule to a future class.

    • 3-6 Days Before Your Class:  You may reschedule or receive studio credit. Refunds are not available.

    • Within 72 Hours of Your Class:  Cancellations are non-refundable and not eligible for rescheduling or credit.

    • Transferring Your Spot: If you’re unable to attend, you are welcome to transfer your spot to a friend. Please email us in advance with their name and contact information so we can update the reservation.

    • Classes begin promptly. If you arrive late, we may not be able to provide a full experience.

    • No-shows are not eligible for refunds, credits, or rescheduling.
