What the role includes:

• Teaching wheel throwing and/or handbuilding classes

• Helping beginners feel comfortable and successful

• Demonstrating techniques clearly and answering questions during class

• Encouraging creativity while helping students build skills

• Setting up and cleaning up the studio before and after classes

• Keeping the classroom positive, organized, and community-focused

What we’re looking for:

• Strong ceramics skills

• Must be able to teach and explain techniques to others

• Friendly, patient, and reliable

• Comfortable leading groups and talking in front of people

• Someone who enjoys community, creativity, and helping people have a good experience with clay
