Kid’s experience clay!
A space for kids to make, explore, and get their hands in clay.
These classes are designed to be fun, structured, and age-appropriate, with guidance every step of the way. Kids get to create real pieces while building confidence and trying something new.
Kid’s Camps
Our Kids Clay Camp is a hands-on introduction to working with clay, designed to give kids a mix of structure and creative freedom.
Throughout the week, they’ll rotate through different ways of making:
Wheel Throwing
Kids will learn the basics of the pottery wheel, from centering clay to shaping simple forms. It’s a fun challenge and always a highlight of the week.
Hand Building
Using simple techniques, they’ll create pieces by hand with space to explore their own ideas. This is where creativity really opens up.
Tile Decorating
Campers will design and decorate their own clay tiles using texture, pattern, and color. A great way to experiment and create something more detailed.
Each day builds on the last, giving them time to practice, try new things, and gain confidence working with clay.
At the end of the session, each child will select up to 8 pieces to be fired and finished. Pieces will be ready for pickup at a later date once they’ve been kiln-fired and glazed.
No experience needed. Just a willingness to try something new and have fun with it.
Clay for Kids Classes
Single-session classes designed just for kids.
These are beginner-friendly and focused on simple, engaging projects using the wheel or hand-building. Each class is guided step-by-step so kids can follow along while still adding their own creativity.
